According to § 37 of the Rules and Regulations of the Doctoral Schools at the University of Warsaw, if your health condition prevents you from fulfilling your academic obligations in the standard manner, you have the right to request certain adjustments.
A PhD student applies to the individual course of study arrangements through the Office for Persons with Disabilities (OPD) and submits them to the Director. The Director decides on the granting of individual study arrangements based on the opinion of OPD.
The most frequently requested support concerns participation in classes and courses, e.g., increasing the limit of permissible absences, individualizing deadlines, and adjusting the examination process.
Please note that the individual mode of study does not change the program and cannot affect the IPB (An Individual Research Plan).
