Adaptation of materials

Adaptation of didactic materials to alternative formats is realized for these students and employees of UW who are not able to read themselves. First of all, if they are blind and visually impaired or if they cannot manually turn the pages.

The content is usually processed into text or audio files. Adaptation orders and communication related to the stage of adaptation are made through the adaptation module in the Academic Digital Library via our site www.abc.uw.edu.pl. To use the service, you must register in the OPD (BON) and set up an account with the ABC system.

Huge part of the adaptation work (recording, correction of book scans) is done by volunteers.
