• Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and Optional Protocol  ratified by Poland and now is a parent act ( PDF ) 
• Higher Education Act

The University has also internal regulations which specify how to provide support for people with disabilities:

• The Resolution of UW’s Senate No. 156 of 17 December 2003 on the conditions of studying for people with disabilities
• Rector’s Act No. 5 out of 8 March 2005 on the conditions of studying for people with disabilities
• Detailed rules of 30 June 2005 of induction and usage alternative solutions to students with disabilities.
