To increase accessibility of education and research, the Office for Persons with Disabilities (BON) has appointed consultants who will provide support for doctoral students. This initiative is part of the “UWażni na Dostępność – Uniwersytet Równych Szans” project.

All doctoral students whose health condition affects or hinders their education at the Doctoral School may benefit from consultations with BON. (Having a formal disability certification is not required.) According to the Doctoral Schools’ Regulations, doctoral students may apply for an individual course of study or for a suspension of education. A consultation is a meeting to better understand each student’s situation—discussing how the health condition affects academic tasks so that appropriate support can be provided. The outcome of a consultation may be a BON recommendation to the Director of the Doctoral School. Consultations may take place in person or remotely.
