Our Office is known and often referred at the University of Warsaw as the BON. Our goal is to make the University accessible and friendly for people with various health related difficulties.

Other Universities usually call similar departments Accessibility Services.

Academic Digital Library (ABC)

An online library with accessible digital versions of various materials. Contains works completed by volunteers and staff of the BON at the University of Warsaw and by partner universities preparing materials for their students with disabilities.

Currently, the library houses several thousand collections, and the number is systematically increasing.

The Office for Persons with Disabilities

ensures that people with disabilities, in particular those with chronic ailments, those with autism, those with specific learning difficulties, deaf people, those who have experienced mental distress, and others with special needs, are aware of their rights and obligations as students, doctoral students, and employees of the University of Warsaw. Regardless of health status, we want to ensure equal and full participation in the University’s offerings. Our goal is to make the University of Warsaw accessible to everyone.
